  1. Hey Dhara! I just wanted to stop by and check in to see how your blog was doing after you helped give me a few ideas for one of my blogs. I just wanted to say that I really like the color scheme and the setup that you have, and your writings are really well thought out! Keep it up!

  2. Hi Dhara! I just read your story about Rama and Sita. I really loved how you incorporated the cooking contest, as opposed to the celestial bow. A few thoughts I had while reading:

You mention in the first paragraph that Sita doesn't want to get married. Perhaps, if you expand upon her feelings, and the reasons why she does not wish to marry, it will create more impact in the moment in which she falls in love with Rama. Secondly, I really loved your use of asyndeton throughout the story. Asyndeton is a device used in language that eliminates conjunctions (for, and, but, etc.) and places commas in between each phrase instead. I think this does a lot to the images of Sita and the surroundings. It creates an element of surety, and it helps to raise the stakes. This is just my personal opinion. Finally, I loved how you used culturally appropriate dishes for the cooking contest. This detail has a lot of impact on the believability of the story. Keep up the good work!
